ATE 2009
Australian Tourism Exchange 2009
Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE), the largest tourism trade show in the Southern Hemisphere and the most important event in Australia’s tourism calendar is heading to Melbourne in 2009. ATE continues to provide an exceptional business opportunity for Queensland tourism operators to showcase their product to international buyers.
In addition to the changes being implemented by Tourism Australia to refresh the event in 2009 and beyond, Tourism Queensland is also refocusing its approach in recognition of the significant challenges currently being faced by the industry as a result of the current Australian and global economic environment plus the ongoing challenges faced by operators to ensure attendance at ATE 2009.
Tourism Queensland is proposing a new approach for attendance in 2009 by presenting two options to all operators. Each operator has the choice of either option 1 or 2 as detailed below.
Option 1 Purchase a Queensland booth at a 50% discounted rate and become a part of the Queensland footprint. Further details are provided in the prospectus below.
Option 2 Access a discount of $500 which will be sent to all Queensland operators attending with their own booth once Tourism Australia has accepted your ATE application.
Please refer to the below documents for further detail on option 1. If you would like to speak with someone regarding ATE 2009 please contact Ollie Philpot on 07 3535 5261 or Tash Petrolati on 07 3535 5422.
Please have all documents returned to Tash Petrolati by 3 December 2008.
