The Fraser Coast region is a holiday playground blessed by nature, with long sandy beaches, relaxing island retreats, abundant marine life and pristine parks.
There are a wealth of coastal paradises, recreational pursuits, adventure activities and historic explorations, rich in diversity and natural beauty.
The Fraser Coast region encompasses the areas of Fraser Island, Hervey Bay, Maryborough, Tiaro and the Great Sandy Strait. The mild year-round climate means visitors can enjoy a subtropical haven. The diverse Fraser Coast region provides the opportunities for whale and bird watching, 4WD, fishing, retail therapy and a variety of adventure activities.
Tourism Fraser Coast is the regional tourism organisation (RTO), which is responsible for marketing the region as a tourism destination.
