Advertiser's Acceptance Policy

All operators who participate in Tourism and Events Queensland marketing activity must adhere to the below:

1. All advertisers must be financial members of their local Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO). 
2. All advertising material must be approved by TQ and/or Coroneo and Co and carry approved creative elements as specified at time of booking by TQ & Coroneo & Co. All advertising material must promote Queensland tourism product through either a brand or retail/price product offer. 
3. The outlined advertising opportunities are available for the promotion of leisure tourism product within the domestic market only. TQ reserves the right to reject any advertisement that does not fairly represent the destination as a domestic leisure destination. Advertising must meet required specifications and trade promotions or competitions will not be accepted.
4. All advertising space must be booked by TQ or via TQ's booking agent, Coroneo and Co, on behalf of the advertiser and with the approval of TQ. 
5. No arrangements entered into by an agent of TQ will be binding upon TQ until accepted and approved by TQ. 
6. TQ reserves the right to cancel advertisements if material is not received by the specified deadline. Failure to provide material by specified guidelines may result in delays in publishing or cancellation and TQ reserves the right to charge the full fee or rate. The Advertiser warrants that the content of the advertisement is true and correct in all respects, is not misleading or deceptive and contains no representations and statements prohibited by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Commonwealth).
7. All payments for advertisements shall be made payable to TQ and be received in its office within 14 days of invoice. 
8. Accredited advertising agencies commission of 8 percent is payable at the discretion of TQ and subject to payment in full within 14 days of invoicing. 
9. TQ reserves the right to reject any advertising copy or material which is deemed inappropriate for any reason, whether or not such material has been previously accepted or published. 
10. Advertisers and their agencies must accept full responsibility for the content of all advertisements and agree to indemnify the TQ and publishers against any claim or proceedings arising out of the publication of such advertisement. 
11. TQ Stand Alone advertising rates are not available for advertising within the advertiser's home / local market. 
12. To ensure that TQ cooperative funds are used effectively, TQ reserves the right to limit its financial contribution to any particular advertiser. 
13. Cancellations will not be accepted after the cancellation date has past. Upon cancellation for any reason, after the cancellation date, the advertiser and/or the advertiser's agency agree to pay the full charges specified.  
14. All bookings must be received in writing and bookings are made on a first in, first served basis. 
15. All advertisers participating in campaign activity, must have a current and active ATDW (Australian Tourism Data Warehouse) subscription. For more information on ATDW please contact www.tq.com.au/atdw  
16. As the Queensland Government, via Tourism Queensland, is investing heavily in cooperative marketing campaigns allowing a direct call to action to operators, it is a requirement of campaign participation that advertisers provide feedback on enquiries and bookings generated by activity. Forms will be provided and information will remain confidential. Inability to provide this feedback may lead to advertisers being excluded from partnering in future advertising campaigns. 
17. Tourism Queensland is not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense (including consequential loss) arising out of delay, omission, default or error by Tourism Queensland (other than by Tourism Queensland’s negligence) in relation to placement of an advertisement or the availability, functionality or performance of any website or other media. 
18. TQ reserves the right from time to time to amend or cancel any of these conditions or opportunities.
