Online Booking Systems vary in cost. There are generally four types of costs associated with an Online Booking System:
- Licensing cost: Cost to use the system (either fixed monthly or annual)
- Commission: Percentage of the value of the transaction
- Installation and training: Cost to install the system and to be initially trained on how to use it
- Support: Cost for support once the system is installed which may be charged as “pay as you use” or included in the installation and training costs
We recommend you compare the overall value of the Online Booking Systems that are relevant to your business and take into account the different types of costs i.e. upfront versus monthly ongoing costs versus commission.
