Students Shine @ TEQ

At Tourism and Events Queensland we recognise the importance of supporting the learning and development of the future leaders of our industry.

We give university students and graduates studying tourism, business, marketing or a related discipline the opportunity to undertake practical work experience.

TEQ is committed to providing work experience opportunities as it provides benefits to the business as well as the students. Work experience is an opportunity to:

• Provide ‘real business’ projects to benefit students’ learning
• Utilise highly skilled students as extra resources for TEQ
• Identify and recruit future talent to our business

Work experience projects are recruited for as the need arises. The projects are flexible to suit the needs of the business and the student.

When positions become available they are advertised on our Careers @ TEQ webpage or on career sites managed by the universities. Unfortunately we do not keep resumes on file.
